Henry was born in China, in the town of XinHui in Canton province. After finishing 6th grade, he started working in the streets selling bean sprouts and ice cream to support his family. When he was 21, he immigrated to San Francisco with his family. To make ends meet and support his family, he worked in a Chinese restaurant for a a period of time, which kicked off his journey in the food industry. He then became interested in baking and devoted himself to learning from his master. With diligence and meticulous experimentation, he rose from an inexperienced apprentice to a well-known pastry and desserts expert. No matter how custom the request, Henry wholeheartedly completes the requests and aims for excellence. He is married with 2 daughters.
